Description :

Polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) is a non-ionic polymer compound. PVP is classified into four grades based on its average molecular weight, commonly denoted by the K value. Different K values correspond to specific ranges of PVP's average molecular weight. The K value essentially represents a characteristic parameter related to the relative viscosity of PVP aqueous solutions. Since viscosity is a physical property associated with polymer molecular weight, the K value serves as an indicator of PVP's average molecular weight. Generally, higher K values correlate with greater viscosity and stronger adhesion. PVP exhibits hygroscopic properties and dissolves in water.
